Stockholm-based Telgea is building the operating layer for global mobile connectivity — one contract, one platform, one bill for multinational companies managing mobile plans across borders. node.vc participated in the company’s $5M seed round alongside Telenor, Antler, and Runway.

We’re excited to announce our investment in Telgea — a Stockholm-based company solving one of the most overlooked and persistent pain points for international businesses: managing mobile connectivity across borders. node.vc participated in Telgea’s $5M seed round alongside Telenor’s venture arm Telenor Amp, Antler, and Runway.

Any company that operates across multiple countries knows the drill. Mobile plans are procured locally, through different carriers, different contracts, different billing systems, and different administrative processes in each market. For a company of 10,000 employees, global mobile costs can run to over $7.7M annually — and a meaningful part of that is pure waste: roaming charges, fragmented invoicing, and the internal headcount required to manage it all. Telgea eliminates that complexity. Enterprises get a single global agreement, a unified platform with real-time visibility, and local connectivity across 10 countries with roaming coverage in 192 — all on eSIM, with AI-powered automation handling onboarding, support, and back-office operations.

What makes Telgea’s position particularly interesting is the distribution strategy. Beyond selling direct to enterprise, Telgea is also building a reseller channel through traditional telecoms operators who want to serve their multinational customers better without building the infrastructure themselves. Telenor investing $3M of the $5M round is the strongest possible validation of that thesis — a major operator backing the company it sees as the right partner for cross-border corporate mobile.

The company launched in 2025 and already has 60+ enterprise customers, with a clear expansion roadmap: 26 countries by end of 2026 and 50 by 2027.

Behind this is a founding team that has been here before. Andreas Åfeldt Franke scaled Tipser and Innometrics to thousands of employees while raising $500M. Theis Jensen founded and scaled medtech company Sani Nudge across 16 countries before exiting in 2023. They bring the operational discipline and cross-border instincts that this category demands.

“Telgea is solving a problem that every internationally scaling company eventually hits — and hits hard. What impressed us most is how Andreas and Theis have combined a genuinely better product with a distribution model that turns telco operators into partners rather than competitors. That’s a rare and powerful combination, and we’re excited to support them as they build the connectivity layer for the modern multinational.” — John Elvesjö, Partner at node.vc

This opportunity was sourced through our network, and we’ve been following Telgea’s progress closely. The more we dug in — through customer references, competitor analysis, and conversations with the team — the stronger our conviction became. We’re proud to back Andreas and Theis as they scale this platform globally.
